Nazaret Medina is the driving force behind Merge Tax, bringing over 25 years of experience in taxation, accounting, finance, and business consulting. She holds a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) with a concentration in finance from Saint Peter’s University, a Bachelors of Science (B.S.) in Accounting from Lehman College, and an Associate Degree (A.S.) in Business from Bronx Community College. As an Enrolled Agent (EA) authorized to represent taxpayers before the IRS, a Certified Acceptance Agent (CAA), and a Notary Public, she specializes in IRS representation, tax resolution, tax planning, and business strategy. In addition to being fluent in both Spanish and English, she also is a certified life coach, a Quickbooks ProAdvisor, licensed in life insurance, and a proud member of National Association of Enrolled Agents (NAEA). Unlike firms that focus solely on tax preparation, Nazaret partners with clients to resolve complex IRS matters, optimize business structures, and build long-term financial strategies. Robert Berger brings three years of dedicated service and financial precision to the Merge Tax team. As a college accounting student actively advancing his education, Robert also holds an official PTIN (Preparer Tax Identification Number) from the IRS. Serving as a Junior Tax Preparer and Junior Accountant, he plays a vital role in day-to-day tax preparation, meticulous bookkeeping, and financial record-keeping. In addition, he is a licensed Notary Public and a Quickbooks Pro Advisor. Working closely with both our tax and strategy teams, he ensures that every client’s financial documents are accurate, organized, and ready for strategic review.
